ILUMNIA - the new sherif in town
A breakthrough loudspeaker concept from Belgium. It was the objective of the two brothers, Jef- and Tom Nuyts, to reinvent the perfect electro-dynamic loudspeaker driver. Criteria for this were speed-, full energy conservation-, full linearity-, and zero distortion of the music signal. For that they completely eliminated the traditional mechanical suspension of the loudspeaker conus with a spider and a surround and replaced it with a Linear Motor Excursion System (LEMS) driver where the the conus floats 100% freely in its own electro-magnetic field. This sheer paradigm change creates a complete new listening experience that must be heard to believe it...
